Reports to the Nutrition Assistant Supervisor. Works independently and implements the nutrition care plan as ordered by the physician and as planned by the clinical dietitian.
Must be able to read and follow precise instructions. Must be able to comprehend Hospital diets and menus. Requires knowledge of Nutrition computer software and systems.
Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of 1 years’ customer service or call center experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is preferred.
Rotation, Limited (29 hours)
5:30 am – 9:00 pm

Required Licensure, Certification:
Works in normal patient care areas with no physical discomfort due to noise, dirt, dust, temperature.
Work requires standing and walking.
Work involves sitting at a computer monitor and using the computer mouse and key board for extended period of time.
Work produces a high level of mental fatigue due to interactions with patients and families to resolve complaints/grievances.
Work involves possible exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous materials, and pharmacological agents with little likelihood of harm if established health precautions are followed.
Work involves honoring all reasonable requests made by the supervisor and/or clinical dietitian, which may be outside of normal duties to ensure patient satisfaction.
Ability to lift 20 pounds or more.
Work involves answering patient phone calls for extended period of time.
