We are seeking a seasoned Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist with UE/Hand experience who will provide evaluation, program planning and treatment of patients referred to therapy. To provide documentation of the above and education to patients, families, hospital staff, and students. To participate in the enhancement of the profession, the facility, and oneself by providing quality care, clinical research, and education. This ensures that all patients are helped to meet their maximum potential through the quality care and input to medical management provided by the Clinical Specialist and that the therapist continues his or her professional growth and development and contribution to the Medical Center.
Full Time - Day Shift, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., 2 evening hours required a week (work until 7pm), and weekend work is not required
Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist. A Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is preferred but will consider someone with 2-3 years of hand/UR experience who is working toward their CHT
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy required.
- Maryland State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist required
- CPR required
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred
