Orthopedic Technician - Emergency Center (Casual 12 hrs./weekly, Rotating)


The orthopedic technician role is integral to the day to day operations within the orthopedic and emergency center operations. Supports the orthopedic service with assistance in correcting disorders of the locomotor structures of the body including the skeleton, muscles, joints, and cartilage in the emergency center, surgical and inpatient orthopedic patient areas. Is cross-trained into a PCT and HUC to assist with smooth operations within the emergency center to ensure exceptional patient experiences for our patients and families.

Location: St. Petersburg, FL

Hours: 12 hours rotating/ varies


  • A minimum of a High School diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievement.
  • 2 years in a medical environment with hands on experience with direct patient care
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows (e.g. Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
