The PCT / clinical associate maintains a collaborative relationship with the RN and other members of the multidisciplinary health care team. Under the direction of a RN, works as an associate with advanced training in specific clinical skills/competencies on the health care team. Observes patients, provides skilled nursing care and maintains the patient environment in an outcome oriented, safe, therapeutic, compassionate and cost-effective manner. Duties and responsibilities are based on what serves the patients and the team at any given time and are determined in collaboration with the team leader.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1. High school graduate or GED.
2. Current certification as CNA in the District of Columbia
3. Completion of Clinical Associate or Patient Care Technician training course or comparable training/job experience and ability to demonstrate needed skills - preferred
4. Current American Heart Association CPR Card
