Requirements:

The Patient Service Representative located in Saint Petersburg, Florida supports administrative operations by working closely with families in a way that supports the culture of JHACH. The position interacts with physicians, clinical staff and other administrative positions to accurately schedule register and support daily operations.

Greet patients, answer telephone calls, and interact with patients to enhance the customer experience.

Pull, control and file patient charts to facilitate the availability of timely medical information and protect patient privacy.

Schedule and pre register patients follow up, establish policies and procedures to ensure accuracy.

Assist in the completion of eligibility and authorization to ensure patients are financially cleared prior to services are delivered.

Assist with patient follow up and check out appointments.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.

1 year of medical office experience or business experience in a hospital, health plan, outpatient healthcare, or clinic setting.

Knowledge of healthcare business office procedures including; registration, scheduling, medical record management and insurance.

Excellent customer service skills.
