Responsible for functioning as a technical assistant and practice partner with the registered nurse. Carries out plans formulated by licensed or certified professional staff under the direct supervision of the registered nurse. Performs moderately complex patient care duties under supervision of licensed nurse. If you are an experienced patient care technician in an acute care oncology unit, please apply. One year of related experience required. Previous oncology experience is strongly preferred. AHA CPR required.

Please note: previous patient care technician experience is highly preferred for this specialty area and will be a criteria in interview selection. New CNAs will not be considered.

1-2 years experience. Oncology experience preferred

Maryland CNA license, PCT certification

CPR Required AHA Healthcare Provider

Possible exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials with little likelihood of harm if established health precautions are followed; Works in area that may require contact with aggressive and/or combative patients
