THIS POSITION REQUIRES WEEKEND COVERAGE
Deliver safe, theraputic patient care for use of the nursing process. Supervises CNA/HSA care for a group of patients usually in the setting of the patient’s home. Employs the nursing process to develop and implement plans of care for patients. In addition to specific and skilled treatments and procedures, the nurse provides health teaching to patients and care givers, referral and coordination of services in the agency and the community, and advocacy for the patient in obtaining health-related goals. Ensures adequate service provision, including scheduling of visits, based on patients’ identified needs and priorities for care. Complies with all Home Care policies and procedures.
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- RN license in the state of Maryland
- Current CPR certification
- Med/Surg nursing experience; home care experience preferred
