TEMPORARY - PRN AS NEEDED
GENERAL SUMMARY: Supports the daily operations and activity flow of the patient care area by performing a variety of administrative functions and acting as a central source of information for staff, physicians, patients, families and other departments. Demonstrates excellent organizational, communication and time management skills that help to facilitate patient throughout. Independently performs clerical functions of updating patient information, scheduling procedures/appointments and retrieving information. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills as evidenced consistently in all interpersonal skills.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- High school graduate or equivalent of education and experience.
- Intermediate typing and computer skills.
- Prior experience scheduling procedures preferred.
