Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist and in coordination with other technicians, pharmacy technicians are responsible for a variety of duties to assist in the preparation and packaging of medications, distribution and delivery of medications, maintaining proper inventory levels, and keeping appropriate records and documentation.

Accurately stages medications for dose preparation, fills mew drug orders prior tp pharmacist final check, Pick ip orders and delivers medication to patient care areas according to procedures, within scheduled time frames and/or follows pneumatic tub proceedures, ensures properhandaling pf hazardous drugs during delivery, including double bagging where appropriate and performs routine inventory of edication and supplies.
Minimum Requirements: Must have a Hischool Diploma or equivalent. Must have PTCB certification and must be registered with the MD Board of Pharmacy.
