Pharmacy Technician

Are you an experienced Pharmacy Technician looking for a Part-Time opportunity? If so, Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington DC, has the perfect opportunity for you!

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of medications and pharmaceutical products under direct supervision of a Pharmacist. You will document and update documentation on various pharmaceutical products that are loaded in the automated dispensing machines. You will communicate with pharmacy staff and nurses about medication when necessary and appropriate.

Qualifications:

-Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

-Current registration with the District of Columbia Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.

-Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certified, or obtain PTCB certification within 1 year of hire.

-PTCB for pharmacy students can be waived for those who have an active Pharmacist Intern License.

Shift: Part-Time (20 hours per week), Rotating shifts, including weekend & holiday work.
