Position Summary:
The Physical Therapist - PRN provides evaluation, program planning and treatment of patients referred to Physical Therapy. Provides documentation of the above and education to patients, families, hospital staff, and students. To participate in the enhancement of the profession, the facility, and one’s self by providing quality care, clinical research, and education.
Ensures that all patients are helped to meet their maximum potential through the quality care and input to medical management provided by the Physical Therapist, and that the therapist continues his or her professional growth anddevelopment contribution to the Medical Center.
Education:
BS, MS or DPT degree in Physical Therapy
Required Licensure,Certification, Etc.:
Current State licensure as Physical Therapist required.
AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required.
Knowledge/Skills:
Work requires the analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analysis, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems or design relatively complex systems and programs that cross department/divisional lines.
