Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery (PRN)

Physician Assistant Neurosurgery will work as a First Assist in the operating room for Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Spine cases.

• Performs neurosurgery assessments and complete neurosurgery post-operative rounds on neurosurgery and orthopedic spine patients
• Performs neurosurgery consults in the Emergency Room and Trauma Bay
• Provides back-up coverage for Trauma activations when needed

Shifts: PRN 12 hour rotating shifts; some night and weekend coverage

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of Physician Assistant program which is accredited by the American Medical Association
• Minimum of 2 years Neurosurgery OR work experience
• Active Maryland PA license from Maryland Board of Physicians and current certification by the NCCPA
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• Active CDS and DEA licenses
• Active PECOS enrollment
