The Johns Hopkins Hospital Cardiovascular PCU

Shifts: 12-hour night shifts; some weekends (permanent night shift incentive pay)

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an AMA approved Master's Physician Assistant Program
  • Licensed by the MD Board of Physicians
  • Board certified or (certification eligible for new Graduate PA) by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • CDS (prescription) and DEA (narcotics) licensure required
  • BLS Health Care Provider CPR certification required: AHA or Red Cross accepted
  • 1 year of PA work experience required; Some related experience with cardiac surgery patients preferred.
  • Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership Systems (PECOS) enrollment required

You must be fully credentialled by The Johns Hopkins Hospital medical board with staff privileges to start working.
