POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for performing many patient-oriented tasks such as interviewing patients, taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, ordering laboratory tests, making tentative diagnoses and prescribing appropriate treatments.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in a Physician Assistant Program or a closely related field and six months of previous experience.

Licensure required as a Physician Assistant. Completion of a signed Physician Assistant job description as required and approved by the State of Maryland.

Work requires the analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems Or design relatively complex systems and programs that cross department/divisional lines.

Work requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.

Rotating Shift, 40 Hours Full Time

Shifts generally begin between 6am - 8:30am and ends between 2:30pm and 7:30pm; Day and evenings with some weekend coverage.
