On a daily basis serves as the liaison between Johns Hopkins offices and Physician Liaison Services by maintaining database files on the OCIS system and feed information into CPD. Anticipates data needs and interprets complex sets of data in order to fulfill the data needs of the physicians and other health care professionals. Serves as the CPD system educational resource to Johns Hopkins offices. Responsible for planning, coordination of and dissemination of information to referring/requesting physicians. Assess the needs of the referring/requesting physician and contacts the appropriate attending physician and other hospital personnel. Verify or transfer information into the OCIS database. Monitors, investigate, informs and corrects discrepancies involving different various computer systems. Responsible for creating a database to examine information related to physician documentation. Summarizes findings and
report to administration. Ensures quality, accuracy and timeliness of Referring and Primary physician information in the database.
Creates a process to periodically review the progress; devise a process to clean up the dictionary. Supports an online communication channel
between transcription services, providers and manages the status of patients' notes.

Works in normal office environment where there is little discomfort to due to the extremes of heat, dust, noise, temperature and the like
