Responsible for efficient/accurate provision of pharmaceuticals, supplies and drug information according to established standards of practice. Duties may be performed in one or more areas of institution, including nursing, inpatient/outpatient pharmacies. Assumes responsibility for all drug distribution, clinical, educational and research activities regarding traditional and cost effective medication use in assigned area(s) or practice.

Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or closely related field plus up to one year of post-degree course work and/or an internship and less than six months of previous experience. Current state licensure as Pharmacist required.
