Position Summary:
The Occupational Therapist (PRN) provides evaluation, program planning, and treatment of patients referred to Occupational Therapy in an efficient and effective manner. Maintains a standard of practice which includes responsibility for the fiscal reality. Provides documentation of the of the above and education to patients, families, hospital staff, and students. Participates in the enhancement of the profession, the facility, and ones self by providing quality of care, clinical research, and education.
Education:
Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy or a closely related field.
Licensure/Certification:
MD State Board Occupational Therapist licensure; valid AHA Healthcare Provider CPR Card
Work Experience:
1-2 year of post-acute inpatient rehabilitation experience and/or post-acute clinical affiliation placements preferred.
