GENERAL SUMMARY: Assists the radiologist with all invasive procedures to include use of all Special Procedures radiographic equipment/devices and patient monitoring devices. Monitors vital signs for all patients requiring conscious sedation within the department (excluding MRI). Maintains patient records and database to monitor outcome and quality of care. Maintains emergency equipment and medication trays with the department. Maintains adequate stock levels of required supplies for the Special Procedures Suite: Performs general diagnostic work as required.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  1. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  2. Special Procedures Certification preferred.
  3. Current CPR certification.
