Who you are:
As the Vendor Management Program Coordinator, you are trusted to competently execute the day-to-day administrative tasks from the Vendor Management Department. You are reliable, flexible, and very organized. You have strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations (with poise, tact, and diplomacy), as you interact with diverse groups of people within Johns Hopkins HealthCare and from outside agencies.
What you’ll do:
- Manage the day-to-day administrative tasks, to include, but not limited to:
- Manage departmental email
- Arrange high-level meetings
- Schedule appointments
- Maintain staff calendars
- Manage departmental expenses
- Complete travel arrangements
- Coordinate contracts requests between multiple JHHC and health system departments
- Manage highly sensitive and confidential information (pricing information)
- Coordinate special project activities
- Assist in procurement efforts
- Assist with vendor reporting and projections
- Handle IT security and financial control requests
What you’ll bring:
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Strong coordinating, organizational, and analytic skills
- Proficient PC skills, to include, but not limited to:
- Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Calendars
- Contract software
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Associates degree in business-related field
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- 4+ years’ experience as an administrative secretary or 2 years of administrative assistant/operations coordinator experience.
