Project Administrator- part-time hours


The Project Administrator manages nursing projects and other initiatives to improve processes and achieve program goals within the Department of Nursing. Responsibilities include providing leadership to project teams in the development of plans for implementation and integration of various departmental and enterprise wide initiatives; providing knowledge and experience to influence clients towards innovative and integrated
solutions; applying analysis techniques and procedures to gather and translate business requirements into functional/technical specifications and designs. Using functional specifications and designs, produce all or part of the deliverables. Coordinates the design and development, testing, and documentation required. Assures implementation of projects that are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet
the assigned expectations. Maintenance plans are well developed to assure sustainability.

High level of ability to solve problems and manage information.
Lead and direct cross-functional teams to deliver projects within the constraints of schedule, budget, and scope.
Proficient critical thinking and analytic reasoning skills.
Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to plan, research, analyze, coordinate, implement and present project requirements.
Ability to work on multiple priorities effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively to obtain results.
Interacts professionally with JHH staff, as well as outside affiliates, and external organizations and customers.


Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration required. Master's degree preferred.

2-3 years of related work experience coordinating and participating in projects.

Healthcare Business and Operations experience preferred.

Demonstrates sufficient knowledge and experience to appropriately apply a methodology to projects that have reasonably well-defined requirements and deliverables. Functional knowledge of project management and nursing
program area; computer applications (PC- and network-based) including Windows, departmental e-mail, word processing, database, spreadsheet, project management and presentation packages. An understanding of file structures, operating systems and applications across the enterprise.
