GENERAL SUMMARY: Functions as Psychiatrist serving as a member of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Psychiatrist will provide inpatient and outpatient services. Inpatient and outpatient visit performance and revenue collections will be reviewed at a minimum quarterly. Interest in ECT/TMS preferred.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Psychiatrist must be licensed to practice medicine and prescribe all pharmaceuticals in Maryland and the District of Columbia, and must be Board certified (or eligible for certification with prompt satisfaction of all necessary requirements for certification) by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Psychiatry, and must maintain Board certification throughout duration of employment. Psychiatrist must complete sufficient continuing medical education credits to satisfy Maryland and District of Columbia medical license/license renewal requirements.
- Credentialed to be on the Medical Staff of Sibley Memorial Hospital.
