Position Summary:

Reports to the Radiology Operations Administrator for operations and is responsible for managing the daily activities of the Division of Radiology. Working through subordinate professional, technical, clerical and maintenance personnel, ensures the prompt and efficient care of patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Status:

Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Day Shift, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

On Call Required

No Weekends

Exempt, Pay Grade MJ

Education:

Preferred training as Imaging Technologist such as is normally acuired upon the completion of an AMA approved in Radiologic Technology Program, Ultrasound or Nuclear Medicine program. Bachelor's degree in business related field is preferred.

License/Certification:

History of clinical professional licensure strongly preferred

Experience:

Requires three years of experience as technologist and 3-5 years with leadership and/or management responsibilities.

Possible exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials with little likelihood of harm if established health precautions are followed; There is little exposure to hazardous working conditions; Work areas may be noisy and crowded; Works in area that may require contact with aggressive and/or combative patients; Works in normal office environment where there is little discomfort to due to the extremes of heat, dust, noise, temperature and the like; Works in patient care areas where there are no physical discomforts due to dust, dirt, temperature and the like
