Job Duties: Demonstrates the knowledge and skills required to care for the patient population on assigned unit. Must assume accountability for the process and outcome of care for the patients. 2 years RN acute care experience preferred or nursing graduates with an ED practicum, work as an ED PCT or ED Nurse Extern, or EMT experience will be considered.
The emergency department at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is a designated area-wide level II Trauma Center. Our ED nurses experience a high level of autonomy and a friendly work environment. Apply to learn more.

Associates degree in nursing required, BSN preferred or enroll within 6 months and complete within 4 years of hire
MD RN license
AHA Healthcare Provider
Possible exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials with little likelihood of harm if established health precautions are followed; Works in area that may require contact with aggressive and/or combative patients
