The Registered Nurse / RN will work within the Interventional Radiology Dept. and is responsible for independently planning, coordinating, and directing those activities essential to the provision of quality nursing care in Interventional Radiology for assigned patients.

The Registered Nurse / IR RN will assist the physician in caring for the patient with conscious sedation and monitoring of patients undergoing interventional procedures. Procedures performed in Interventional Radiology include infusion port placement, thoracentesis, paracentesis, control of GI hemorrhage, stroke treatment and care of patients with traumatic injuries.


  • Full Time, 40 hrs per week
  • 7a - 5p
  • no weekends, but will have rotating on-call


  • Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in Bachelor's program
  • Must have a minimum of two years Critical Care experience
  • Experience in Interventional Radiology is preferred, but not mandatory
