Job duties:

Position assists with the operation of the Rehabilitation Services Department by maintaining the clinic equipment and supplies, assisting any therapist prior to/during/after patient care, performing secretarial duties as needed, orienting appropriate personnel and participating in department projects and meetings. The above duties are performed independently and/or at the request of a therapist. Assisting with patient care is done only at the request and direct supervision of a therapist. Duties vary from routine activities to quick decision-making. The tech is frequently required to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and to set priorities.

Job Status:

PRN (as needed), Day Shift, 8 hours per week, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Saturday or Sunday (depending on needs of the department)

Job Requirements:

  • Six (6) months of Rehab Tech experience
  • High School diploma
  • Work requires the analytical skills to gather and interpret data in situations in which the information or problems are relatively routine
  • Work requires the ability to exchange information on factual matters, schedule appointments, greet visitors, explain medical center policies, and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel. This type of interaction requires courtesy and tact when dealing with patients, visitors and/or medical center employees. More sensitive situations may be referred to others as appropriate.

License/Certification:

  • CPR
