Do you want to make a difference with the smallest patients? We are searching for a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist II to join our team.

Provides direct patient care, pulmonary care and respiratory equipment management in the home care setting to patients of the JHHCG in accordance with JCAHO, state and departmental standards. Provides care to adults of all ages, children and infants. Develops and maintains the business process to ensure service excellence. Coordinates closely with the Senior R.T. regarding performance, productivity, documentation and patient care issues. Develop and maintains knowledge of regulations and agency policies.


  • High School Diploma required
  • AA or BS in Respiratory Therapy preferred


  • Work requires the level of knowledge typically acquired through completion of two years of respiratory specific education or an Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy or a closely related field and six to twelve months of previous experience. .


  • Critical Thinking skills. Work requires the analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical or technical principles.
  • Work requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
  • Use of sound judgment

Required Licensure, Certification, etc.:

  • Registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Technician required
  • Must be licensed by the Maryland State Board of Physician Quality Assurance.
  • CPR
  • Current, valid Maryland Driver’s License, preferably with no points.

Work Experience:

  • Two (2) years minimum clinical Respiratory experience in a hospital or home care setting
