Reporting to the Revenue Cycle Manager-Credits, this position is responsible for providing supervisory oversight to the employees responsible for all credit balance processing and refund activities for both inpatient and outpatient accounts for multiple hospital entities while empowering, coaching, providing guidance, and leading by example. In addition to supervisory responsibility, incumbent is responsible for handling difficult situations and/or unique issues.

This position is responsible for establishing relationships at all facilities and be familiar with each institution's computer environment and payer contracts.

•Requires proven analytical ability and organizational skills necessary to organize/assess information and provide recommendations based upon data analysis.
•Requires basic business process improvement skills.
•Requires ability leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support to work group and promote employee development.

Keswick, Baltimore, MD

Associates Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Health Administration, Finance, or related field or 4 years of leadership experience in hospital receivables. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Health Administration or Finance is preferred.

•A minimum of four years healthcare and hospital receivable experience with a large academic medical center or health system.
•Two years' experience in a supervisor and/or leadership role.
•Experience in using team building and quality management concepts to positively influence the work environment.

Works in normal office environment where there is little discomfort to due to the extremes of heat, dust, noise, temperature and the like
