Job Duties: Demonstrates the knowledge and skills required to care for the patient population on assigned unit. Must assume accountability for the process and outcome of care for the patients. At least 2 years acute care nursing experience.
The emergency department at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is a designated area-wide level II trauma center. If you are a nurse with a minimum of two years of acute care experience, it may be time to consider the possibility of working in the exciting field of emergency nursing. Associates degree in nursing required, BSN preferred or enroll within 6 months and complete within 4 years of hire
2 yrs previous exp preferred
MD RN license
AHA Healthcare Provider
Possible exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials with little likelihood of harm if established health precautions are followed; Works in area that may require contact with aggressive and/or combative patients
