The Vent Rehabilitation unit will provide the unique opportunity to work with complex medical/surgical patients, vented patients, and rehab patients. Responsible for providing professional nursing care according to specified physician orders and in conformance with established nursing techniques, procedures, standards and Medical Center administrative nursing policies. Ideal candidate will possess the preferred 1 to 2 years experience working with Vent and or Rehab patients. Candidates with Medical Surgical experience, or highly motivated new RN graduates will also be considered. Highly motivated individuals with interest in performance improvement and safety and in promotions via the nursing department ladder system are encouraged to apply.
Vent Rehabilitation Unit
Full Time Nursing (36 hours)
Rotating Shift
7 PM or 7am
7:30AM or 7.30 pm
Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center
Associates degree in nursing required, BSN preferred or enrolled within 6 months and completed within 4 years
Maryland RN License
CPR Required
AHA Healthcare Provider
Possible exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials with little likelihood of harm if established health precautions are followed; Works in area that may require contact with aggressive and/or combative patients
