Join the Johns Hopkins Hospital Nursing team and become part of a collaborative work environment at a world renowned, Magnet designated, academic medical facility. Johns Hopkins nurses are committed to patient safety, clinical excellence, optimizing outcomes through evidenced based practice, and life-long learning.
All new graduate nurses are automatically enrolled in the yearlong Adult or Pediatric Nurse Residency Program (NRP) to facilitate the successful transition to professional nursing practice.
Meyer 4 is one of four separate inpatient units of the Henry Phipps Psychiatric Service. It is a specialty unit for both affective disorders and eating disorders. We also have a special program for young adults with affective disorders. To help patients transition from inpatient to outpatient care, and to provide continuity of care, we offer a partial hospitalization program (Day Hospital) for patients on the Eating Disorders Service. Additionally, the nursing staff of Meyer 4 provide care for patients undergoing electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and other brain stimulation treatments.
