Psychiatric intake and evaluation services within the Emergency Department. Previous psychiatric nursing experience, de- escalation techniques, and over all nursing experience is ideal

Responsible for providing professional nursing care according to specified physician orders and in conformance with established nursing techniques, procedures, standards and Medical Center administrative nursing policies.
NOTE: BSN enrollment in 6 months and completion in 4 years is a requirement.

PES in Emergency Department

BSN; enroll in 6 months and complete in 4 years required.

at least one year as an RN practicing in acute Psychiatry is REQUIRED

Maryland RN license or compact state
AHA CPR
BSN preferred

CPR Required

AHA Healthcare Provider

Works in area that may require contact with aggressive and/or combative patients
