The Senior OD Consultant will plan, implement and evaluate large-scale change efforts by partnering with clients in determining improved organizational strategies, business processes, organization structure, roles and responsibilities. Will Develop and implement organization strategies that support improved future-state organizational design and service delivery. Will Design jobs and roles, create competency models and career paths to aid in the selection and transition of employees. Success requires being a team player as well as excellence in working collaboratively with clients at all levels. Acts as consultant to client managers to assist in resolution of problems through organization development and organization design interventions. The Senior OD Consultant will apply analytic and visualization tools to assess the impact of varying design and decision solutions and will analyze impediments to excellence in performance, service, behavior, and culture and proposes strategies and tactics to address failings. Strategies and tactics include leading retreats with management; facilitating focus groups and work groups in identifying problem cause and solutions; executive, management, and group coaching; training; and psychometric assessments and analysis.
Knowledge of theory and practice of training and development, organization design, organization development, change management, organizational behavior, group development, adult and organizational learning, and systems theory generally acquired through Master's level work in applied behavioral science or a closely related field
