This position reports to the Senior Director, Population Health Analytics and Product Development and will work collaboratively with the Senior Director and the Director, Product Management to achieve Innovation SBU goals around supporting and enhancing existing product, developing new products and developing new technology solutions that target unmet market needs.

This position is primarily responsible for owning the technical product development lifecycle in partnership with the Director, Product Management. This position will also work closely with the Director, Product Marketing Strategy to manage the product portfolio. This position will be responsible for streamlining existing product development activities across internal and external stakeholders, working with researchers to translate documented requirements into design specifications and test acceptance criteria, developing and testing code, maintaining product components including documentation through the lifecycle, and interfacing with third party developers and vendor partners. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in providing consulting within the healthcare industry and/or delivering healthcare


  1. Education:

Masters or higher degree in computer science, or a closely related field required. PhD or doctorate degree preferred. A Master’s degree in management is desirable.

B. Knowledge:

The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare product development, data aggregation, data governance, creating predictive models and will have experience in developing predictive models, and developing analytics-driven care management and remote patient management technology, products and services. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on technology development experience managing a team of technology and/or actuarial experts in various fields. Expert knowledge and experience in Agile and other project management practices and tools is desired. She/he will have a proven track record of leading geographically dispersed product development. Professional level knowledge of business and product development, and project management is a must.

  • Advance knowledge and experience using .Net 4.0, C#, Java script, JQuery, CSS, SQL Server, Contract Express, Alfresco, Subversion, JIRA
  • Experience in integrating EMR systems like EPIC or Cerner with other clinical systems.

E. Work Experience:

A minimum of 10 years of experience in the commercial healthcare or insurance industries, preferably with expert level experience in data management and integration, data governance, data analysis, predictive modeling, full stack product development, and technology management.

F. Machines, Tools, Equipment:

Expert Knowledge in tools such as SQL and NoSQL databases, R, Python, Jira, MirthConnect, Airwatch, Meraki, Confluence, Jenkins, MS Office, Visio. Working Knowledge in tools like Elastic Search, Logstash, Solr, PHP, and JavaScript.
