Shift:

Position Summary:
Provides clinical social work services to patients in an outpatient OB/GYN clinic. Responsibilities include psychosocial assessment, supportive counseling using strengths-based approach, crisis intervention, grief counseling, and referrals to community resources. Work includes collaborative practice with treatment team.
Education/Work Experience:
Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Master’s degree in social work and one year of experience in providing clinical social work, preferably in a health care setting.
Required Licensure, Certification:
Current state licensure as LCSW required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Work requires the analytical ability to assess patient needs at a micro and macro level, develop associated treatment modalities at a more complex level and provide affective counseling.
Work requires communications skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, or well-developed writing skills.
