Position is highly visible on all hospital units, interacting with Spanish-speaking patients and families. Incumbent is responsible for recording all interactions and maintaining appropriate documentation while maximizing customer satisfaction. Acts as liaison for patients/families and all levels of staff.
PRN (as needed), Variable rotating Shifts, some weekend work required

Patient Support Services
- One (1) year of previous experience as a Spanish Interpreter performing written and oral translation for a non-English speaking population
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and previous Spanish medical interpreting experience in a healthcare environment strongly preferred.
- Qualified applicants must successfully complete the Cyracom language competency assessment.
