Position Summary:
The Speech Language Pathologist organizes and conducts medically prescribed services for inpatients and/or outpatients to restore function, minimize disability following disease, or injury, and to assist the patient in reaching his/her maximum possible level of functioning to assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her disability.
Education:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Licensure/Certification:
Current SLP License from the State of Maryland.
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
Current CPR Certification
Work Experience:
Two (2) years experience in the areas of adult dysphagia, speech, language, and voice preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
