Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

Day Shift; 8:00am - 4:30pm

Weekend work required

Position Summary:

Diagnost and therapeutic services to patients in the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit demonstrating deficits in communication, cognitive-linguistic and swallowing; appropriate documentation and billing via EPIC system; attendance in family meetings, patient rounds and assigned committee work to support the Rehab program; inservicing to staff as appropriate; excellent customer service skills required.

Education/Education:

Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Master's degree in speech pathology and a Certificate of Clinical Competence.

Licensure/Certification:

Maryland licensure in Speech Language Pathology---Required

Valid CPR required

Knowledge/Skills:

Work requires the analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems OR design relatively complex systems and programs that cross department/divisional lines.

Work requires communications skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, or well-developed writing skills.
