Johns Hopkins Community Physicians is looking for a Senior Financial Project Analyst reports to the Assistant Director of Finance and is responsible under their direction for budgeting and monthly reporting for the Primary Care and Hospital-Based Medicine lines of business, including the development of reports related to staffing and compensation. The position also will manage the financial aspects of JHCP’s Maryland Primary Care Program (MDPCP) and the East Baltimore Medical Center (EBMC), working closely with the JHCP operating team and physician leadership.

The person in this position will also be involved in the evaluation and development of new reporting tools, dashboards, and benchmarking through the use of reporting tools such as Tableau and will also support JHCP’s maintenance of financial KPIs and incentive compensation models. This position will work closely with regional leadership to develop opportunities for improvement in financial performance. Over time, the Analyst will develop an in-depth knowledge of operations and effective working relationships with operational and physician leadership.

Status: Exempt, Full-time 40 hours per week


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible financial experience including involvement in financial/business planning, reporting and benchmarking. A demonstrated knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and financial analysis is required. Experience in the use of software applications, databases and spreadsheets is required and prior experience with financial reporting tools such as Tableau is preferred. Experience with SAP is preferred
