Position provides clinical, technical, and customer service assistance to radiology patients, staff, and customers. Candidate must perform duties that enhance and assist clinical operations. The clinical duties may include one or more of the following functions: Patient care and safety, patient preparation including IV insertion, point of care testing (POCT), and clerical functions such as tracking in Epic, scanning documents, and printing reports. Coordinate new Radiology Assistant training.
Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Day Shift, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Monday - Friday
Work Location: Johns Hopkins Imaging - Bethesda
High School Diploma or GED
Prefer work experience equivalent to 5 yrs in health care setting. General knowledge of healthcare and radiology. Excellent customer service skills, strong communication, organizational and computer skills. EPIC experience a plus.
CPR certification required within 3 months of employment.
Possible exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials with little likelihood of harm if established health precautions are followed
