We are currently seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Supervisor for a full-time, permanent position at Johns Hopkins Hospital. 

40 hours per week



The Certified Sterile Processor Supervisor: 

Reports to Central Sterile Manager and is responsible for supervision and quality of work per assigned shift Central Sterile. Responsible for overseeing all activities occurring in the Central Sterile Processing Department, focused on department quality, staff supervision and productivity. Oversees and responsible for all processes associated with the decontamination, assembly and sterilization activities along.  Supervises staff members and plans, organizes, implements and evaluates training and educational needs. 



Associates Degree required

Knowledge of Medical Terminology, Surgical Instruments, Medical Surgical Supplies and business management

CSPD ( Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution) or IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management) Certification required

Minimum five (5) years working in central sterile processing - with three (3) years in a leadership or supervisory role
