Sterile Processing Tech I

$3K Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time, Certified SPD Techs!!!

The Sterile Processing Technician I inspects, cleans, assembles and sterilizes surgical instrument sets. Operates cleaning and sterilization equipment in order to clean instruments and supplies. Prepare supplies and equipment for steam sterilization and low temperature sterilization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

Required Licensure, Certification, On-going Training:

CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution) or Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materials Management) or CRCST certification is required.

Shift: 7am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday. Applicant must be able to work 1 weekend per month. Additional weekend work may also be needed based on the needs of the department.
