The Surgical Technologist I possess knowledge of aseptic/surgical technique and is able to provide surgical technical skills for patients undergoing a side variety of operative procedures. The Technologist I selects, plans, organizes and effectively utilize required instrumentation when assisting in the scrub role. The Surgical Technologist I work as a member of the surgical team and is responsible to assist the surgeon and circulating nurse with assigned duties.

Full time - Days

7am-3:30pm

Minimum Education and Experience:

1.High school graduate or GED equivalent.
2.Associate degree in Allied Health or equivalent combination of education and clinical experience preferred.
3.Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
4.No experience required.
5.Current CPR Certification required.
6. Ability to lift and carry loads up to 40 pound.
7. Ability to push/pull equipment weighing up to 200 pounds.
