The Cook:

Prepares food which is nutritious and appetizing in accordance with requirements of the Food Production Manager.

Shift: Must be able to be flexible and work Monday-Friday from 10:30a-7p or 1p-9:30p. I am also able to work every other weekend/holiday.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:

High school diploma or GED, or the equivalent knowledge gained through experience

1 - 2 years culinary or technical school

Licensure/Certification/Registration: None required

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1 - 2 years institutional cooking experience required preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare with working knowledge of modified diets preferred.
