Job Duties:

The Johns Hopkins Department of Radiology part of a global healthcare organization dedicated to clinical excellence within an integrated, multi-disciplinary environment focused on patient and staff safety. At Johns Hopkins Radiology, sonographers perform a vast variety of ultrasound exams along with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures across organs and masses. The ultrasound technologist performs diagnostic sonographic and interventional procedures in the department under the general supervision of the Chief Imaging Technologist and with the assistance of a Physician or a Senior Sonographer. Primary responsibilities include ultrasound breast imaging along with invasive procedures. They must also be trained in general ultrasound.

Full Time (40 hours)

Day Shift


Education: High School diploma or equivalent including successful completion of an approved curriculum in diagnostic sonography.

License/Certification: Preferred registration by The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). CPR certification required within three months of employment.

Experience: No experience required. New grads are encouraged to apply
