Part Time (32 hours)
Provides a variety of unit operational support and activities to promote patient comfort and satisfaction. Works under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Work Experience:
Six months of work experience in a health care environment preferred. At least 6 months continuous employment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of and familiarity with hospital equipment, supplies, and procedures.
Ability to identify clinical and environmental emergency/urgent situations and to follow established procedures
Highly effective interpersonal communication skills to interact with inter-professional staff, patients, families, visitors, and other hospital employees.
General office, communication equipment, cleaning equipment, knowledge of keyboarding, and basic Window applications.
