Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

Day Shift: 9:00 am - 7:30 pm

Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

Provides a variety of unit operational support and activities to promote patient comfort and satisfaction. Works under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Work Experience:

Six months of work experience in a health care environment preferred. At least 6 months continuous employment preferred.

Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of and familiarity with hospital equipment, supplies, and procedures.

Ability to identify clinical and environmental emergency/urgent situations and to follow established procedures.

Highly effective interpersonal communication skills to interact with inter-professional staff, patients, families, visitors, and other hospital employees.
