This position is responsible for the coordination and development of activities and functions of quality improvement initiatives to include planning, design, establishing, and implementation. Provides direction and oversees management of area of responsibility as well as develops and implements policies and procedures and provides recommendation for changes when applicable. Works collaboratively with other teams/departments regarding delegation oversight which includes first tier, downstream, and related entities (FDR) as defined by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) as well as NCQA requirements.
Manage the vendor contracts related to VBP and member outreach to include contract negotiations, develop to data sharing requirements and updating the yearly performance goals. Works with an inter-departmental team, including internal and external customers (such as the hospital and hospital clinics) to ensure that the VBP and member outreach programs are on task and meeting timelines. Collaborates with the Priority Partners Administration Team to assure best and most timely success for Priority Partners VBP Measures. Responsible for overseeing, designing and coordinating VBP and member outreach measurement, reporting functions, and improvement activities. Responsibilities include VBP regulatory compliance, optimization of data analysis, data collection strategies, VBP and member outreach workflow processes improvement, and managing priorities through the timeline. In addition, the VBP Project Manager will support the HEDIS goals for all lines of business and work closely with the HEDIS Project Manager to support overall HEDIS/VBP measure success for our membership and the Company.
