About Johns Hopkins Community Physicians – Providers
At Johns Hopkins Community Physicians, we believe in The Promise of Medicine. Here, our physicians and clinicians provide primary care, including internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and cardiology. We also employ medical specialists, surgeons, hospitalists and intensivists. Our role is to provide long-term comprehensive care, managing both common and complex illnesses.
We take the time to get to know our patients and understand their lifestyle, healthcare background and health concerns. We'll make recommendations for preventive care, treat any current conditions and make referrals to an appropriate specialist or other medical facility if needed for specialized diagnostic tests or treatment. We are here to coordinate comprehensive care and make sure all questions and concerns are addressed.

To ensure access, we accept most insurers, offer sites throughout Maryland and the Greater D.C. area, and partner with organizations throughout the region. We use information in a meaningful way through our innovative electronic medical record and registries that facilitate our patient outreach efforts.
As a part of Hopkins, we are a fully integrated organization that hosts faculty, partners with hospitalist programs, offers front line specialty care and is connected with hospitals across Maryland, D.C., and Virginia. And finally, we are health care leaders in innovation. Our Patient Centered Medical Home model provides patients with comprehensive care from a committed team. We provide evidence based care through our commitment to the mission of discovery. Some of our practices are embedded with a pharmacy.
