The Patient Escort provides escort services to participants riding the Hopkins Elder Plus transportation program. Transports participants to designated locations within the hospital for appointments.

Location: Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Baltimore, MD 21224

Hours: Full Time (40 hours), 10 Hour Shifts, Day Shift

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited high school or G.E.D. program
• Work requires the skills to read and understand instructions, add and subtract numbers, and make comparisons between numbers and letters
• No registration or licensure is required. Valid CPR and First Aid certification required
• Minimum of one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population

Salary Range: Minimum 17.53/hour - Maximum 17.53/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
