Position Summary:
Reports to JH Imaging Site Manager.. Responsible for organizing, assessing and addressing the technical and educational needs of the MRI technologists at the imaging site. Assists in MRI, schedule, safety, staff engagement, and establishing guidelines for quality control of equipment and procedures. Prioritizes services rendered based on types of procedures, patient conditions and staff/equipment available. Performs diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies. Orients staff and student technologist in objectives and applications of magnetic resonance imaging and safety.

Day Shift
Location: Lutherville MD
May occasionally work during other hours to check on evening/weekend shift operations.
Education:
Graduate of an approved AMA diagnostic Imaging program; BA or BS degree preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Advanced ARRT MRI Certification & CPR required.
Experience:
Requires a minimum of three years clinical imaging experience. Prefer magnetic resonance training program with clinical internship. Must also have demonstrated leadership skills necessary to promote teamwork among peers and technologists.
Working Conditions:
- Required to work in all ACR MRI zones and exposed to strong magnetic field for extended periods.
- Must possess the ability to focus without frequent distractions.
- Possible exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous materials, radiation, magnetic field, and pharmacological agents with likelihood of harm if established health precautions are not followed.
- Work may require the use of lab coats, uniforms and/or protective clothing including gowns, gloves, masks and eye gear.
- Position requires the ability to assist the patient on and off the examination table and also to assist the patient into proper positioning to obtain diagnostic results.
6 This position will require moving and lifting of supplies and equipment as needed.
Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
